Sonic Youth 2000- present day

I kinda burned out on Sonic Youth around 9 years ago, partly due to their tunes being linked to a girl I was trying to get over. The last album I bought of theirs was NYC Ghost n Flowers. Please recommend me some of their newer stuff (post 2000).

Thanks babe.

i quite liked rather ripped too, both of these are pretty much thurston/SY in very "non_SY traditional rockin' 'n a rollin', raw, bite size pop song mode" and i rather unfashionably like them for it

murray street (2002) and sonic nurse (2004) are great

yeah those two in listened to in conjunction on beautiful summer days in the adirondacks is fuckin ridick

I'd like to hear an SYR sans KG cum JH only for the novelty of a 2000 year sweatpants boner.

thanks i'll look that out. i think a more instrumental sonic youth may be what i'm searching for. not so interested in tap loops or hearing any of kims poetry readings
