A bus driver for Lake Villa School District 41 is accused of showing sexually oriented video clips on her cell phone to children ages 7 to 11, officials say.

 

April Jackson, 33, of the 21900 block of W. 7th Street, Lake Villa, made children wait to exit the bus at Olive C. Martin School in Lake Villa while she showed a group of children the clips, Lake County Sheriff's Sgt. Christopher Thompson said.

 

The incidents occurred over the past week and a half, Thompson said.

 

Jackson was arrested Wednesday and charged with disorderly conduct. She was released after posting $100 bond, Thompson said. If convicted she could face up to 30 days in the Lake County jail and up to $1,500 in fines, he said.
