well Switch also worked with Santogold and MIA; those are good pop albums imo

I really like some of his remixes, and the Spank Rock album this is from:

The Bug is the obvious one, as well as the aforementioned Two Fingers and Buraka

Maybe try Diplo's "Favela Booty Beats" compilations, cos the music he "discovers" tends to be better than the music he makes

Also check out The Very Best for more cross cultiral vibes, though they tend to tone the club thing way down. Actually, check out The Very Best anyway.

Buraka Som Sistema and The Very Best are probably my top 2 for the year actually

what i find odd about simian mobile disco is that i seriously dislike the albums, and yet i will make absolutely sure im at every show they do anywhere near me, their dj sets are fucking astounding.

but really, look deeper into diplo's catalog. he's got some good stuff in there (in the same vein as major lazer).

truth... their original shit is mostly rubbish imo. only thing i ever liked of theirs was the 'we are your friends' remix by justice... and that was by justice. OH right... justice is fantastic dance music as well (but much more stimulating than most)... but you probably already knew of them.
