some 311 songs, justin timberlake, some black eyed peas!

I was huge into 311 around 94. I liked the Black Eyed Peas first two albums. I like Justin Timberlake's Rock Your Body (that's it though).

I'm not ashamed of liking Peaches! Have you heard her new album "I Feel Cream"? The music is great.

Her lyrics are usually pretty amusing too. She had me at "...big trouble in little mangina"!

i have that janet jackson single from the eddie murphy film about those fat people

is Paper Planes by M.I.A a guilty pleasure or is it genuinely "cool." i fucking love that song man. i loved it when it came out but i wasn't very active about it, and then i heard it on the radio last weekend and i was like, man i fucking love that song. so i downloaded it and i listen to it several times a day now. i cant get enough of that song.

i saw them in concert in those days (fergieless) and they put on a great show. awesome dancing! that was like 1999. back then their vibe was almost like that of a tribe called quest... post fergie i like some songs!

i like how she pissed her pants on stage and continued to do her thang!

Yeah, but I'm a guy! A big blokey bloke! I'm not supposed to.

I mean, her lyrics are truly cringeworthy and the bassline is farty, but I can't argue with those crashes. They're so overdone and I just love it.

Also it just makes me think of partyboy...

Yeah they definitely had a "conscious hip-hop" sound, they were well respected. I haven't liked anything since Fergie (did they do any crap after those 2 albums, but before Fergie?). Some beats are ok but overall it's garbage.

Yeah, probably some 80s songs- Duran Duran, Come On Eileen, Men at Work, etc. I always have to listen to that stuff if I hear it.

That is good stuff man. Nostalgia is the best thing ever.

Okay, there's gotta be some tunes you don't really want people noticing as they scroll through your collection. First up for me is

I love that record, I've got the CD somewhere. And I love guilty pleasures (abusivegeorge's thread from a while back was awesome).

Just a few for me,

Na Na Hey Hey and so on (Steam)

The Safety Dance (Men Without Hats)

All the original 12" remixes of Relax and Two Tribes

Fascist Groove Thang, Come Live With Me, Let's All Make A Bomb (Heaven 17)

I Won't Let You Down (PhD)

Different Strokes (Isotonik)

Fascinating Rhythm (Bass-o-matic)

Anywhere and Not So Manic Now (Dubstar)

O Father (Madonna)

I could go on and on and probably will, whether anyone's interested or not.

It's from Like A Prayer. And I actually managed to spell 'Oh' wrong there.

Edit! How could I forget 'I Wish' by Skeelo?
