I think its my favorite movie ever.

a guilty pleasure of mine

this was one of my favorite movies as a little kid.

I've never seen it.

There are of course more cerebral pretentious films that any film lover should say they like better, but they are purely for the mind. This film hits me in the heart. Real life kind of stuff

its pretty corny

John Hughes was good stuff

So anyway, isn't Herzog's Wild Blue Yonder excellent. Love it

scrooged is great. what a dark movie.

it's snowing like a motherfucker right now and i might actually watch this.

the opening scene to scrooged with his commercial for the charles dickens movie is one of the most memorable scenes in film history for me.

they apparently had to cut a lot of really sardonic shit out of scrooged because it played too dark.

i wonder what was cut, that below clip is unbelievably dark i don't know how they could top that.
