Presume early means the Eno years, in the early to mid 70s. Not such a fan, but do love the later era. Yes, some say blander, but just not such a fan of the art or glam phase and preferred the polished soft pop rock that tinged letr work and Ferry's own solo career. klanty
One of my friends is the Bryan Ferry in Proxy Music, London's premier Roxy Music tribute band. Eno period FTW, though Avalon is the tits too. kaini
when i say early, i mean the first three albums: roxy music, for your pleasure, and stranded they started to get progressively less interesting after that. country life is ok, though Edited December 21, 2009 by kaini Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide kaini's signature Hide all signatures On 5/7/2013 at 11:06 PM, ambermonk said: I know IDM can be extreme On 6/3/2017 at 11:50 PM, ladalaika said: this sounds like an airplane landing on a minefield Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/51754-roxy-music-on-beat-club/#findComment-1194131 Share on other sites
Guest zaphod
oh. i disagree, since i think avalon is their best album. but that's the one my parents always played so it's got some nostalgia attached to it. also bryan ferry's cover of jealous guy is pretty amazing. much better than the original imo Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/51754-roxy-music-on-beat-club/#findComment-1194360 Share on other sites
