Prefuse 73 NA tour

Prefuse 73 and The Gaslamp Killer are teaming up for a tour in 2010 that kicks off at Music Hall of Williamsburg (MHOW) in Brooklyn on Tuesday, January 19th. Tickets for that show go on sale today (12/11) at noon. Like RJD2 who also just announced a tour and is playing the same Brooklyn venue, Prefuse 73 will be touring as a full band. VOICEsVOICEs will play in the band and open some (or all?) of the shows too.

Before then, Prefuse 73 has one other date - opening for Umphrey's McGee at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago for New Year's Eve. All dates below...

I saw Prefuse October this year and it was amazing, unreleased beats and Ampexian remixes all around. If you can go, go.

I may go to the show in Brooklyn.

Was gonna go to the Seattle show (saw him last time too) but I have a conflict that evening...so I probably won't.

saw the williamsburg show. it was cool, on the whole, pretty unimpressive and a drummer who lightly accompanies electronic beats and a little atonal guitar noodling is not what I would call a full band.

I was there too, I should have checked to see if other WATMMers were going and said hi. I agree about Prefuse but Gaslamp fucking KILLED it. Not often a DJ puts on a show of that caliber. Sweet Giant Claw avatar btw.

I did not go see him Saturday night. Instead I went to a party and puked and walked over a long bridge.

I didn't puke at the party, mind you.
