Dr Clitterhaus
What a garbage top 10. Flaming Lips, lol. That is emabarrassing. Only heard a couple of tracks by Animal Collective and they were the worst ever. Real indie-kid/hipster/beard/thick rimmed glasses trash. Grizzly Bear are lightweight as hell. Bat for lashes are for girls/Rubin Farr. Not heard any of the others but i would imagine Raekwon to be the best. But i have to conclude, if that is the top 10, it confirms that 2009 has not been a good year for music. Yeah, the Fever Ray album is superb. I'm surprised Grizzly Bear's album didn't make it to at least #2 on this chart. I have to disagree with the Dr. on Merriweather Post Pavilion - that album feels really good, and no visions of hipster beards ever occur while enjoying it. That's an album you definitely have to listen to from top to bottom to enjoy it to the fullest, as a song or sample here and there doesn't really do it justice. (Who cares who else likes it anyway?)
