i have two monitors at work, i want a second (and hardware to support) at home reeeeal bad

my lcd is 1440x900, a 2880x900 desktop is a very appealing prospect

i have all the hardware to do it, an old CRT, an old but ok classic PCI adapter WITH tv out via svga, but my box doesn't have the slot,

only option is to set up a VLC server or summat on old hardware that supports the card. interesting hax, but a day's work.

now with extra cat

i had a dual 22" and 24" setup, but swapped it out for a single 32" hdtv. "spaces" in osx really reduces the need for dual monitors.

I like having a widescreen 16:9 and a 4:3 monitor for different purposes but really I just want this kinda setup

I'm quality over quantity, only got a 19" Eizo monitor, need to get one of those new IPS monitors eventually.

I really just wanted a 15" monitor but they're hard to find at stores

plus it was only $150 and the Samsung monitor was free

that alienware monitor makes me cum stupid hard. also, white pony is pretty sweet

whenever i try plugging a second monitor into my laptop i get a bluescreen after running reaper for about 30mins. really fucking annoying when i'm in the middle of recording and the display starts fucking up, then 30 seconds later everything goes blank and pow, bluescreen. if it can't support extra monitors, why provide the port? idiots.

I like have small laptops so I'm working with a 13" screen at the moment which is getting annoying, I think I'm going to get me one of those big samsung ones, maybe a 24"

I have a laptop. 17" screen, therefore rendering the whole "portable" element to a laptop, useless. Pretty picture though.

Ive seen em 6 or 7 times, first time I saw them was the best though, it was like a month or two after around the fur came out and they played at this super small bar, it was a mad house of violence and for some reason they played for like 2 and a half hours. played everything in the catalog at the time a long with a few covers and b sides

I use dual 19" monitors at work (left is portrait-oriented), and I must say I really like the convenience.

What resolution can you output to the LCD? Also, I've never really looked into Spaces, but can you give a practical example of a good application of it?
