give me good flicks on blu-ray or hd-dvd, i don't really care

this is so true. most of the western releases on blu-ray are dire, hollywood films. it would be nice to see something a bit more avant-garde or just better quality really. i have 1080p 120hz and i want to use it dammit! i own a grand total of 0 (zero) blu-ray disks myself.

be sure to do you shopping at amazon... prices cannot be beat...

north by northwest, old boy (has 7.1 too), audition, plenty of kubrick films, quite a few criterion collection films, haneke's cache, deliverance, raging bull along with many other Scorsese films...

edit also forgot about some Steve McQueen films I just picked up: the Getaway and Bullitt
