my names alex from germany and ive been making music for a year now. scored a contract with a small experimental label in berlin pretty early in my "career" (last march) and published a cd-ep there that got a pretty good review in the wire magazine. i got a heads-up via idmf towards one of your members mixes and enjoyed browsing your fora, so i signed up. over at the idmf i post a mixture of detailed critiques and horseporn, and i think i will do the same here. (i should cut down on those critiques tho)

anyway, i keep on producing and right now i compiled another album that i cut down to a demo cd, and this one i chose to be the opener (or closer, i am not sure). hope you like it! naturally, its not mastered, i just did a proper mixdown.

* edit: i just noticed i inserted the wrong track title in the thread. well, what gives, those are all working titles anyway and most are changed when put into an album context

Love the anvilish sounds in the beginning. Great sample manipulation/atmo. There's a lot of microediting here which I like a lot. This sounds awesome, but honestly, I see this as an in-between track more than an intro or outro. Not enough meat to be an outro, doesn't hit hard enough as an intro. But I do love it.

i don't listen enough to this kind of music to give you any kind of constructive criticism, so im just gonna say i enjoyed it.

thanks people. i only use freeware vst/i, so theres no real reaktor patching, except for the occasional jeskola buzz effects chain... (freeware modular tracker of awesomeness). glad if/that you enjoyed it. cheers!
