Capsaicin
I'm kind-of leaning towards UTP because of the extra CD, but I'd like to ask my favorite group of music makers before making a decision Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/51951-a-quick-question-about-the-alva-noto-ryuichi-sakamoto-dvds/ Share on other sites
khov
well, see on discogs for details. i have the japanese version (2008), one DVD (1/long unique shot the orchestra/band with the big screen - nice animations 2/ same set with the whole animation only, computer graphic abstract animation), one audio CD, same recording. the greatest things must be the booklets, details etc. i think the usual version (raster noton, 2009) has a making off on the dvd. its a great release. khov
sorry, didnt read the question on the title :-P INSEN is better, but its closed to the records. i only listen to it without the image (long shots..). its piano/electronic while Utp is more orchestral, droney, ambitious. But both are great.
