looking for some portable speakers

all i can find on the internet are ipod docks and thats not what im looking for. i just want a small pair of speakers which can be powered by batteries.

I bought this altec lansing thing for when I was backpacking, cheap and small and sounded good enough for my purposes

The picture of the boombox beat me to it. You should look into a used JVC Kaboombox. Those things POUND.
