Rob's effects unit..

I remember he used an mpc, nord modular rack, and a bitstream controller, but what was the effects unit he used? Just curious..

Looks like a dbx 1066 to me...

makes the most sense, the entire sound palette of that tour seems to be going into a compressor or limiter at the end of the chain. id be surprised if AE let the live sound guy take care of that.

yeah they said they EQ everything themselves in an interview somewhere, i'd be surprised if the stuff isn't compressed. a lot of rob's knob twiddling is either pretty quiet or quite loud, helps balance it out with percussion.

i'm pretty sure that's a modem.
