it was heroin. Darcy (bassplayer) is the crack head.Jimmy is sober (iirc) and when i saw them (SP) play in Asheville (2006) he was spot on and it was some amazing drumming. He is no longer with the band as he can only tolerate so much billy.

hummer, cherub rock, etc are all still pretty awesome live. Or at least were till Jimmy left. I met Billy, quite briefly, he is weird. There were other people outside and he walked across the street and barely said a word and just stood there looking at everyone while rocking back and forth and stretching the arms of his hoodie. Also he's now a fanatic christian.
