Acid. Can't stand that club house shit. Was on the train yesterday and the dude next to me was listening to that shit house with the wailing diva who sounds like a dying whale, I couldn't help it and started laughing which triggered laughter from others clearly equally unimpressed by the sonic-shit leaking his headphones.

You didn't say today, though. Overall, I'm going to have to go with acid, it's just got a funkier rhythm and groove to it, and plus I don't really dig the diva vocals in most house songs. House is still nice though, w/o the vocals.

It depends on the vocals though. DJ Pierre for instance uses pretty wicked samples.

A lot of house DJ's today have become alot more popish, which is sad to see. But whatever.

I'll agree with you on that song, it was really good. And pretty much every genre from the '80s-'90s has fallen off somewhat today, but recently it's getting a little better, so hang tight, Lord of Darkness!
