i spoke to jeff parker briefly and he said they'll be touring more this year, i didn't know which states you guys live in so i didn't get to ask specifically

in between songs last night they made an incidental sound that was like the beginning of the girl with the sun in her head

i was tempted to yell its name out but i doubt that they would've played it i have never known them to perform a cover live

also i don't know a lot of their songs by name but i know monica and i was gonna yell "monica!" but they played it anyway

thanks for the link Brandi_B they look um interesting i guess

they were nice guys... i met three of the four of them and chatted about stuff before the show (they were just hanging around in the front)

mentioned watmm and compared terminal11 favorably to venetian snares and the vocalist was like yeah i've heard "them" i almost lolled

their songs were really short, like 4-5 min. it seemed each, but their self-description of "space rock" was apt they had some good jams

i can't decide if i feel like going tonight or not. Car had a flat tire this morning and I had to use my brothers to go to work. I haven't been to a good show in a long time. I might fall asleep though. God plus you can't smoke in the cats cradle anymore. Last time i was there for Kid Koala there was a flat screen tv in the bar area with return of the jedi on and more people were watching that than the acts before him. Anyway, I don't think i'm gonna go anymore. I can't function in the cold rain.

i would like to see ween, a lot really, but i wish they would offer another ticket vendor

after megadeth, i don't want to pay $12.20 per ticket from live nation... the bastidges
