DARK AND EVIL AMBIENT

Have had these up on soundcloud for some time, but feel like I need some critiquing from random people(You) on the internets. So if you would spare some minutes of your beezybeezy day and tell me how much my music is lame, I would be stupendously grateful. I am hoping to use some or parts of these songs for a future album. Take it easy watmm!

finally some good music on EKT

"Paranormal shift" was excellent, I loved the parts that sounded like rising tones...made me think of the sickly aura of an apparition.

"The Abandoned Factory" I have to say that I did not like this one too much, for the fact that it sounded like you messing around with a pitch bender over a distorted and bitcrushed loop, there wasn't much finesse.

"Encumbered Catacombs" this was beautiful. I loved how much resonance you milked out of these tones. at some point I'm pretty sure you were creating some binaural beats. The trebly sounds were just a tad cheesy, for the fact that you used what sounded like spring reverb on them (you probably didn't but the effect was the same). I like how you bring the ambience to a close.

"Depth" well this begins sounding a lot like a continuation of catacombs...I like what it fades into after that little hissy interlude. To tell you the truth, the treble stuff is pretty distracting.

all in all, very nice ambience. In my opinion, you should use higher quality reverb (more wet, more pre-delay) on those treble sounds.

So I've been looking at my older, not as smooth tunes, and did some cutting/layering/whatnots and have come up with a few tracks that I want to use for the album. I also changed my name from earthtones to deltatones(case you were wonderin).I would say these are more psychedelic than my previous tunes, so my advice to you is: 1. Grab a bong 2. Pack that bong 3. Hit it and put your headphones on 4. Profit$$$ Any and all criticism is fine, just looking for areas to improve on. Peace watmm!
