Japan's Kouhei Matsunaga and Toshio Munehiro.

The name is derived from the series of greek atomic numbers of the chemical elements 111-119.

Kouhei has previously worked with Sean Booth of Autechre, Merzbow, Asmus Tietchens and Mika Vainio,

with all of whom the pair share an aural aesthetic.

edit: just checked this out and it's pretty bumpin! it feels like the bastard child of unununununwhatever (which i liked quite a bit). as with ununununununium, it is fucking LOUD -- like VOLUME 11 shit. definitely worth listening to.. this could bump a floor if the crowd could handle the staticy sounds.
