my fucking record

i just bought an album and the holes in the middle of the records are extremely tight

like i had to push it down and when i wanted to take it off it was an arduous task cause i didn't want it to break in my hands. will this tightness go away eventually ?

yes i know the problem, i've had records like that, and no, the tightness won't go away. what i did was make the hole a little wider with a knife or scissors, carving a little bit of the vinyl off.

i just use the tip of a scissor blade and spun it about on it, it worked. i just hope i didn't take too much but i suppose if i did it wouldn't be playing right now
