I work for a magazine

So I was unemployed for almost a year untill my friend from college called and told me she they had some temp work available.

Now I do photoshop stuff: layouts, crop and edit photos etc. It's very boring but I'm making some good money.

I work with a bunch of rednecks (they're very decent god fearing people) but I am very happy to be working again.

Hopefully I will get hired on full time.

I just wanted to share that.

I have no interest in hunting at all (I think if you kill something you should at least eat it)

but I have a tendency to read parts of the articles so I now know the fishing hotspots in New York and Ohio lol

I bet you got a lotta learnin ta do.

It's really simple actually

we use InDesign and just copy paste the articles into templates

there's codes for the image sizes and placement that I also don't have to memorize because they're preset in InDesign

I follow a sheet called an ASF, rinse and repeat about a thousand times

what sucks it getting 100+ images and having to convert all of them to .pdf and check for discoloration, scratches or blood ect.
