reason question

can i make a one bar melody ( one colored thing) and then spread it over 3 bars with a push of a button?

yeah, using the scale tempo thingie

do you have reason 4? it soo easy to manipulate your notes with the tool window in reason 4, like sneaksta is saying you just open up scale tempo and then 50% then 75% it for 1 one bar slowed down to 3 bars

you obviously don't mean copy and pasting your parts right? heheh that would be a pretty silly question but in that case you just highlight the notes/section and copy and paste them three times at the start of the bars.

ah nice. haven't played with reason 4, good to know that i can do this with it
