chassis
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMS3gqc7eRs Can someone tell me, at 2.10, what effect is being used? At first I thought it might just be the gain turned up. But then the quality goes to shit. Is it overdrive or just a particular synth he uses. Cheers. Guest uptowndevil
i believe he is referring to the gritty, growling bass. Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/52427-the-clark-effect/#findComment-1211494 Share on other sites
Guest mafted
sounds like distorted sawtooh with a bit of portamento. I would guess it's not far from a preset on a Virus or something. Just before that newer section drops @ 2.10, more than one thing seems to happen. It starts at 2.10, the sorta growly bass. Someone mentioned Virus? Guest abreaktor
parallel compression, very short attack, moderate release, brickwall limiting 1:10+++ and he opens up the "wet" i guess its downsampled several times and compressed again, since i tried to emply the same technique and came up with adequate results only after several bounces and re-compression Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/52427-the-clark-effect/#findComment-1213623 Share on other sites
