i don't know if anyone here listened to him but apparently he died last night.

just heard some of this guys music and wasnt really that impressed. i went on to sample some live clips too and they sounded a bit better.. rip, probably drugs.

I'd be a lot more affected if he died, no offense to Jay Reatard. I read he was sick and died in his sleep...curious to know what actually happend.

I haved lived in Midtown Memphis, TN for 14 years. The guy was a prick. He died of a heroin overdose, as will most of his friends. I'm not being facetious.

This is sad, but honestly the guy wanted so badly to become a "legend", I wouldn't be surprised if he went the suicide route.

His music / persona wasn't my cuppa, but he was passionate about it which counts for something, I guess?
