Ochre - Lemodie

After being out of print for the past two years, I've finally bitten the bullet and sunk a chunk of change into a re-press of Lemodie (with the help of Benbecula). Just took delivery of the new CDs this morning!

I'm selling them through Bandcamp, bundling an instant download with every CD, for six quid. Visit my shop to order!

nurturing of a light filled part of me, the most important part of me....my heart.

Ochre, your music's effect me strongly and i just want you to know that

it is very important what you do and i consider you to be one of my favorites

in the writing of compositions of this kind. your skill and subtle sensitivity in sound

construction is completely undeniable to me now after spending time with

your most recent offering of Like Dust of the Balance .

i look forward to hearing where your spirit will lead you next.

Hey Ochre, is there a way to purchase more than one item at a time through your shop? I added one thing to my cart, logged in to PayPal, then went back to add something else, but that second item is now the only item in my cart. And is the shipping charge per-item?

Also, I just noticed your blog post saying you'd sent some copies to CDBaby. I guess they haven't arrived yet since they're not showing on that site...any idea when that should be updated? Curious what the shipping cost would be from there, since I'm in the US.

Sadly there isn't at the moment; this is probably the main issue with Bandcamp now they've started dealing with physical items. Hopefully this'll get sorted before too long, but in the mean time I'll send out PayPal invoices manually for multiple items after people get in touch with their shopping list. Not exactly elegant in this day and age, but it gets the job done.

They were posted yesterday, so I'd expect them to take 4-5 days for CDB to receive and process them. I've set Lemodie up on their site, so as soon as they get them they should add Lemodie to my page. Can't remember how much postage is though I'm afraid - it's got to be way cheaper than ordering from me though.

Cool, thanks for the info. Looks like shipping at CDbaby is $2.97 for 1 CD so that's almost $2 less. We'll see what the CD itself costs, though. In the meantime, I'll go ahead and order Like Dust of the Balance through your site. Thanks for making great music!

Lemodie showed up at CDBaby today. After shipping and tax it came out to $15.22. Might have still been slightly cheaper through Ochre.net...but oh well. Ordered.

Thanks Sidewinder! Hmm, didn't realise it'd be that expensive, but then I didn't take tax into account. I've just dropped it by a dollar, so at $10 I make $6 per CD, minus the postage to CD Baby for 4 CDs.

Lemodie is among my favorite electronic albums for sure.

Lemodie isn’t necessarily one of the best albums I’ve heard, but it’s definitely one of my most cherished. Listened to it a lot through some tough times. Gorgeous pressing on this one!
