something i did when i was bored

hah! brilliant!! I did a cover ages ago too...I could never figure the piano chords out though so gave up.

Its a proper good song to work out though.

(i no way mean to hijack your thread, just thought you might want to hear my version.)

Hey placid: I really like yours. Can you tell me how you made the synth line at :044, i seemed to struggle getting that right.

Bubba, I had'nt seen that no. The bass was a bit of a bitch to get right. I ended up for the intro using lots of reverb (with chorus) on the bass which is not something you would usually do but it ended up sounding pretty nice

please add some "orange!"

Just in case you were talking to me, no. I was messing around with a VSTi called 'Blue' and found the preset that sounded just like the roygbiv bass...that's when I decided to have a go at recreating it.

Erm, just did it by ear mate. I was so fucking chuffed when it came out right too. :D

I might have a go at the piano parts now!
