Anyone at watmm spent time with these works? they have released 2.

i've heard a few small sound clips, it sounds really good!

It's more hip hop. Very rough around the edges. They're pretty excellent and recommended. Hobs is a particular favourite, I thought I'd buy the vinyls before people realise it's AE and snap them up, it was worth it!

these are pretty good. one track sounds a lot like 777 with strings.

the track rubbaband is wicked, I love that fluttering percussion effect that autechre would later employ in places on untilted. Alas most of their other tracks are soso

probably the most disappointing AE releated project i've heard to be honest.

i'm gonna check this out, though (gescom aside) i've found i enjoy the material released as ae more than their other stuff.

Both albums have a consistent experimental hip-hop vibe, with the exception of the song Minxed off of Hobs, which is a music concrete piece. If I had to compare them to anything else by Autechre, I'd say they're actually very similar to the Weissensee remix off the Spltrmx12 album, so if you like that, definitely check these records out. Runfastmaybefaster is definitely superior to Hobs.

I have recorded my records to FLAC files, which I'd be willing to share through Soulseek if they aren't already available.
