hot for baphomet
i was hoping for actual zelda music but i would suspect that to be stereotypical. you have a good breakbeat there and a definite aphex twin influence (the electronic piano keys and the zizzing glitch transitions) what are you using to make/emulate the 303? it's a bit aimless, really the best transition is circa 1:30 into the production where you kick to the 303 solo, and by 1:45 i like the modulations and changes of the 303 noise. this part has direction. i think the aphex-type synth piano keys are a bit aimless in the first part but they work after the 303 section. also the ending is kind of anti-climactic. overall, i think you have potential and some more experience and focus will really help you. edit: i like it when about 55-58 seconds in when you do the aphex-style DSP glitches. i think if you didn't use them two or three times before that point they woudl be received even better. cheers!
