what's funny about this to me is that corporations already find a multitude of ways to use loopholes or get around the laws to influence elections, a big example is mainstream television media channels: cnn, foxnews, msnbc, nbc, abc. The Supreme court ruled this as a free speech issue and that restricting corporations from funding campaigns would be obstructing their free speech. This is I agree with. What I don't agree with however is how corporations can be classified as people under the 14th amendment. If individual human beings acted in the manner that corporations act, they would be thrown into prison.

Lobbyists have a hold on everyone, and Obama is hardly alone. With very few execptions (people like Kucinich or Ron Paul, arguably) all of congress will be happy as hell about this and take advantage of this ruling. Dems just cover up corporate donations better than Republicans, who don't even try.
