2.4ghz 4gb unibody macbook pro with spillage broken motherboard

Recommended Posts

i think i'm being forced into haggling by north london hasidic jews. they offered 599 to replace the motherboard, 700 for part exchange on another of the same, or 250 for parts. is that good? do they expect me to haggle? is it racist to start haggling? thanks

tell them you want no less than 850 for your auntie. sorted mate.

Some songs I made with my fingers and electronics. In the process of making some more. Hopefully.

original post makes no sense. who is selling what?

it does make sense, it's just that it isn't articulated within the lofty constraints of your nerdy paradigm so you say it doesn't make sense to portray the notion that you're a supercomputer having a crayola sketch fed into it's disc drive and you're all like 'DOES NOT COMPUTE'. YEAH!?

fair enough. I have no experience with jews and macs.

it's worth whatever someone will pay for it. you might have better luck on ebay.

also, sell it before they announce the tablet ;p

i didn't know jewish was a "race".

But seriously, if you're gonna spend whatever you did on the MBP, why not spend the extra fucking quid and get the AppleCare (for next time obviously, and btw they're fucking you deep in the ass with their circumcised penors quoting those kinds of prices to you, 600 quid to replace the motherboard, they're having a fucking laugh) It's fucking money well spent, because...

Build quality, regardless of manufacturer is always going to have inconsistencies due to the way manufacturing works nowadays (hooray for laissez faire capitalism).

Anecdote: I got my MBP in 2006 with AppleCare, the LCD futzed in late 2007 because of something on the motherboard. New parts in for free in under a week, and that's in a backwater like South Korea. No hassle at all.

indeed bro, but the fucking problem is that i didn't have fucking apple care on the laptop and also that fucking wouldn't have fucking mattered because it fucking well got a pint of fucking ale fucked on it which fucking won't cut the fucking jizzy fucking mustard now-a-fucking-days.

Apple won't do a flatrate repair?

My logic board crapped out about a year ago and I took it to apple. They gave me a regular repair option which would be faster, but I would have to pay for every fix/component individually. The second option was to pay a $300 flatrate for apple to send it away and fix whatever was wrong with it within 2 weeks.

The logic board is an expensive part and I wasn't sure if my graphics card was fried or not so I went for the flatrate.

actually, with applecare, they don't really ask many questions.

But yeah, take it to a proper apple shop matey.
