i was a fan of FLA since the late 80s, even saw them a couple of times. my friends were more into the Delirium stuff than me, but i still respected the sound even with the guest vocalists, but this...sounds like Beyonce or some shit.

The only album I ever listened to by them was Karma. It was already fairly out of my comfort zone, but I loved it at the time. I played it to death. Maybe that's why I didn't want to hear anything else by them.

This does sound pretty terrible!

oh fuck, that song is terrible, even by pop standards. i literally find it offensive!

i loved FLA's album 'implode' until i discovered that it's probably about 90% based on samples of other electronic music, lol.

well let me rephrase, once i figured out that it was mostly samples i preferred to listen to the stuff they sampled rather than the actual album. eg. when i first heard implode i hadn't heard most autechre stuff, and they use blatant samples from chiastic slide at least twice on that album. now i can't listen to it anymore without getting pissed off at how blatantly they used beats and melodies from other songs and not saying anything about it in the liner notes!

it's hard to believe this is the same Bill Leeb that did Caustic Grip and the first Noise Unit album. getting soft in his old age, they even look like John Tesh groupie douchebags.

This is the Delerium I was into. Then Semantic Spaces came out, and it was like ok I guess this isn't so bad. After that, though, they just completely went deep into the forest.

I remember being on some irc chat interview think with FLA in the late 90s, and Bill Leeb pretty much was saying how FLA wasn't making enough money, and he was interested in doing things to make more money.

For FLA, I'll always have a place for Tactical Neural Implant and like someone said Caustic Grip. Millennium and Hardwired had some decent tracks, but were way over the top, as in KMFDM over the top. After that I didn't really buy FLA related stuff.

Tactical Neural Implant never grew on me. There are moments of FLAvour of the Weak I still really enjoy, but I find myself skipping to those moments and not listening to the whole songs when they happen.

This track isn't bad se but I don't think I'll be listening to it again
