i didn't say fuck you fred, i said fuck facebook.

if you can believe it, reading the commentary on facebook groups is worse than reading the comments on youtube videos.

social networking sites are what prompted me to develop my theory of "there are no conspiracies, everyone is just really fucking stupid and misguided."

"The only country where we have..."

Hmm, you sure about that? These problems exist all over the world. We have the luxury here of being able to tax our citizens to pay for welfare (for the homeless without shelter), food stamps (for those kids who aren't eating), medicare (for those elderly without medicine), and medicaid (for those mentally ill without treatment). Since we don't pay taxes to other countries for them to set up their own welfare systems, we hold fundraisers instead.

There are also plenty of non-governmental charities for everything you've mentioned as well. Here's a list:

It's multiple pages, so you'll have to click to see past the first 200.

The bottom line is that something horrible has happened in Haiti. Something beyond homelessness and starvation (of which they already had plenty). They had a natural disaster kill a confirmed 150,000 people, and the number is likely to rise to *200,000* people. To put that in perspective: 9/11 killed 2,973 people. Katrina killed 1,836 people. The atomic blast on Hiroshima killed about 70,000 people. When something this bad has happened, we have a duty as human beings to help. That is why there are benefits for Haiti.

99% of people didn't post what you said, because 99% of people would be stupid to think it, much less say it. The truth is that 99% of people don't have the guts to tell off people like you who don't think before they copy and repost stupid shit like this.

This is American and i am allowed to have my own opinions. I am allowed to give my money to whoever the fuck I want. I wouldn't be thinking if I thought what you told me to think right? There is no need to start name calling because I voice my own belief. No one EVER comes to our aid in times of natural disaster. Yet, everyone ... See Moreexpects the US to help them when something happens. When we do help other countries in dire need, they complain that it doesn't happen fast enough, or not enough of it. When will that stop? Why don't you go tell the people who's life's were destroyed by Katrina they their relief efforts need to wait b/c there is something more important happing in another country.
