I received this OST on CD for Christmas and I just love it. I've watched the film loads of times since my teens but never really appreciated the soundtrack. Now I do.

Yeah it was composed by Eric Serra, its pretty electronic sounding though. Beautiful and elegant in spots and some funky weird shit too.

Yeah hehe, I got this soon after watching the film. Me and a mate worked close to a cinema and had these ridiculously long breakd where we just go and watch this film over and over. We were pretty young so it was fun, then I got addicted to it and invited my family to come and see it hehe.

It's pretty cheesy but I'd actually like to revisit it now that you mention it : )

I thought Eric Serra did a decent job on it! Used to listen to that soundtrack all the time after the movie came out!

The only truly cringeworthy part is the second half of the Diva's song when it gets all funky. Super cheesy but if you love the movie (like I do!) you let it slide! haha

Cool to see someone else mention it - it has been so long, I'd forgotten all about that album. Gotta' dig through my CDs to find it now.

Pretty incredible! You can tell in Serra's original recording that part wasn't entirely live, but this woman nails it. I guess when you've been singing since age 2, you achieve super human vocal powers.
