Mocha or Mocha

How exactly is it supposed to be pronounced, "mo-ka" or "mock-a"?

 

I usually say the latter but Im wondering which one it is.

See Americans say it all weird. As far as the final word on English, I think I'll stick with the country that invented it.

I asked the bloke in a McDonalds in Canada years ago for a 'motch-ah' milkshake and he gave me a funny look. Was I saying it wrong then?

i personally love a good strong italian espresso, with no milk or sugar. cappucinos are also pretty great!

 

though i don't drink coffee much anymore, it tends to give me the shits, if you know what i mean!

i always knew it to rhyme with broke, as in moak-uhhhh
