Guest Idio
definatly worth it man! Same with the Minimoog V. My mate has both of these and they're incredible. Really faithful to the originals in both sound and interface. I would recommend anyone who has to money to get this shit pronto! Berk
it probably sounds good, but for 190 dollars I'd rather get a physical DCO synth or something and pirate this Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide Berk's signature Hide all signatures Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/52976-moog-modular/#findComment-1228080 Share on other sites

Guest Masonic Boom
I had this when I first got a Mactop - yeah, probably about 2003 ha ha - but I used to just set it up and make it wub and fall asleep in the middle of the floor with my head between the speakers. Then one day it just mysteriously stopped working. I think my then-BF disabled it because he wanted his girlfriend back when I spent more time twiddling its knobs than his. It's a fun toy, but didn't seem to me like a serious instrument, though. I never used it on any recordings. I'm comparing them for making 303 esque acid lines, obviously I can't say that the moog gives a more accurate sound to a hardware 303 but with the sequencer you can create 303 style acid lines that imo sound better than ABL2- though this might be because the 303 sound has been rinsed to death. Also, in terms of a virtual synth that replicates a piece of hardware- I think that the Aturia have done a much better job thinking specifically about tone quality. That's how i'd go about comparing them anyway..... Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/52976-moog-modular/#findComment-1228430 Share on other sites
