Some thoughts:

For a start, there's a lot about this track that I like. Generally, I'm massively in favour of electro pop and I have a high tolerance for cheese if it's hooky and melodic.

Best thing about the track: THE BASSLINE. It's just the right sort of bouncing melodic squelch to make a track like this really move. Absolutely perfect.

I like the vocals in concept, but in execution, there's just something about them that's not quite right. I think it's actually the tuning on them. The tone is good, the words are fine, but they just seem to be autotuned ever so slightly out of tune in a way that really bothers me.

Also, the synth lead that comes in about 0:32 is just too off for me. Sounds to me like you've got it tuned up a fifth from the melody (of the bass), and it doesn't always fit - especially with the vocals - in a way that I find really jarring.

It's like you've got these three great ingredients, but have just combined them in a way that's slightly off. Which is a shame as the ingredients on their own are fantastic. A little bit of tweaking to get everything working together more cohesively and this could be a monster pop tune.

I really liked it. At one stage the bass had a kind of Tuss feel to it. The vocals remind me of something from an Air song (which I consider a good thing). But they do go out of tune in a few points which does annoy me too.

Other than that, good job.

I just thought about this: Maybe it should be "Dark" yellow skin, alluding to the color of an unhealthy piss. Also, in a metaphorical sense, all things considered, that would be funny to me, AND it's closer to the truth innit bruv safe geeza etc. 9 days.
