...i am really pissed of. I organize my librabry by album title, which why prefer because in case of a compilation i have all the tracks together, but that doesn't really matter.

The problem is that my "Spanners" album has this track order:

4 Bolt2 0:27

1 Raxmus 3:03

2 Bolt1 0:27

3 Barbola Work 6:42

5 Psil-Cosyin 10:32

6 Chase The Manhattan 5:42

7 Bolt3 1:36

8 Taha 3:08

9 Bolt4 1:06

10 Further Harm 6:18

11 Nommo 6:53

12 Bolt5 0:22

13 Pod Noddle 7:13

14 Bolt6 0:42

15 End Of Time 3:44

16 Utopian Dream 6:00

17 Bolt7 0:17

18 Frisbee Skip 5:25

19 Chesh

I have checked all the tags and everything is correct. Why the hell is track 4 coming in first place??

hmm, not sure that is weird..

double-check the tags and make sure there are no spaces or anything like that.

if that doesn't work... clear all of the tags and start over.

Checked: no spaces, nothing changes.

Remove tags and do them again: nothing changes once more.

Got a software named tagscanner, pretty cool. It checks discogs database for records and automatically fills tag spaces with all the info. This time got it right. Still strange tho. Wonder why it was not working before.

I fixed it, but before i had all the tags correct. I really don't understand. But at least i got it. I hate to have the wrong track order, it really breaks the feeling while listening.

itunes mp3 editing is not always true mp3 editing, sometimes you're stuck with false information. It's been known forever.

Get a better info editing software (like mediamonkey)

Different album artwork seems to affect track-order. The thing that usually works for me is to enter an Album Artist (I just put same as artist), just to make sure they all have the same one - when you highlight all the tracks on an album and only some have an Album Artist it will just look the same as if there was no Album Artist, so I always try this first.
