Need a good video converter

Recommended Posts

I have a bunch of videos that I want to burn to dvd but the formats don't seem to be recognized by anything. DVD shrink/converter can't read the files to make an image, and windows dvd maker can't read them either. Some are in .avi, some are .mk4, but basically I'm looking for a good do-all video converter. I'm sure one of you guys has the answer.

Ignore everything mentioned above and just use TMPGenc.

You seem sure of yourself. Provide some further argument as to why I should trust you.

TMPGenc is very intuitive to use, it enables you to do some simple edits or apply some filters if needed.

But it's mainly its intuitive and easy to use interface.

I use it in a professional evironment.

Those are my arguments.

You make a strong case, and I will check TMPGenc out first, but if this is a red herring I'll shake my fist at the sky and let loose a cry of agony of unprecedented volume.
