Snoop Dogg and Darth Vader

Just walked outside my office only to be passed by Snoop Dogg and Darth Vader doing the imperial march down Broadway, trailed by about 20 storm troopers. Just thought I'd post as that's one of the crazier things I've ever witnessed in person.

I guess it's a promotional thing for adidas, pretty awesome.

Was it the real Snoop Dogg?

I'm tempted to go to the one in Soho but I'm at work...

I saw some of these flyers up somewhere for Adidas/Star Wars stuff.

I got to say, I 'm a sucker for both Adidas and old Star Wars shit.

I may have to get some kicks if they look good.

I just went to the soho store. The shoes are so-so. The skywalker ones are definitely the coolest but they are brighter orange than they look in that pic. The material ia also canvass and feels a bit stiff.

Nothing too cool was happening at the store btw. There were two stormtroopers there that people were taking pictures with. There was also a life-size, remote-controlled R2D2.
