Stranded Sequestered

Stuck in the house all day with something like two feet of snow.

My show is canceled, but I produced a new track.

yeah man this is solid. You gots the skills. My only turn off to this and many of your others is that it's a bit overly slick, but it's a matter of taste. I am really curious to hear what you could do if you went out of your way to make something both darker and less easy to swallow. How about you do me a favor and maybe try that. Just for fun. I wanna hear.

same problem man. I reckon it's just a taste thing, but if that's dark and harder to swallow then our definitions are different. it's almost frustrating from my perspective because it's fucking obvious to me that if you tried your hand at something just straight nasty, it would be unbelievable. You make music for you though. I don't expect you to change your style according to just one person's taste other than yourself. There's just an element to your style that doesn't exactly sit well with me. It's well produced and quite mental but at the same time it sounds like it was manufactured rather than hand stitched. I don't know why I bother with this sort of commentary because it certainly isn't very helpful.

reminds me of a smak vinyl i love, i think it's 13/14 and i think the guy is nachtsmeer. nice track.

wow man, gave the track a listen... it's great! i do, however, completely agree with sneaks... if you were able to find away to crack away at the gloss that seems to coat all of your tracks and get at something a bit more raw it would feel so much more genuine. you're an incredibly talented producer/composer -- that much is clear -- we just have to find a way to make all of this PRIMAL. one example is the sequence around 3:00 in... there's so much grit hiding underneath some production polish... don't be afraid to get loud and unorganized and out of control!

edit: mayhaps fucking with the pads could work to your advantage? they're so pristine... maybe try fucking them up in places or dropping them to make the grunge pop out that much more.

The track is the track. You cant force someone to be darker and sicker. Mind you if he sticks around here for any extended period it'll probably happen. Just let him evolve himself.

This is wicked! A bit slow for my liking but obviously thats down to personal taste, however having said that I never found myself getting bored at any point throughout the track. *Performs jump to the bandwagon* I'm with sneak and bigs on this one, the track could do with a less polished sound, it kinda feels like your deliberately holding back from unleashing something incredible. Awesome track though man! A+++
