FSOL - ISDN Live Transmissions

the guys have begun releasing recording of live shows from '94-97, some pretty cool and unreleased stuff in there. the prices fluctuate based on the length of the performance, so that's kinda wonky. their site has been overloaded recently, so if you purchase it may take several hours to get your download link.

the isdn broadcasts weren't exactly live though....i remember being part of a mailing list ages ago who collected the isdn broadcasts, and a number of them were identical...

but they're awesome. i'm glad fsol have been clearing out their archives....maybe some new material now lads, eh?

Oh dear. I guess sometimes it's best not to know anything about the people behind the music you love.

Mr.Cobain is notorious for talking bumf - You should've seen his Ramblings Of A Mad Man section on the old FSOL site. Now that was a major

I haven't eaten a Wagon Wheel since 07/11/07... ilovecubus.co.uk - 25ml of mp3 taken twice daily.

now fsol just needs to release a decent new album and all will be well.

everything up through dead cities is so brilliant!

what happened? the isness is just embarrassing.

im well enjoying all the archives bit's.

I love the Abbey Road/mispress mix of The Isness, I've found the other Amorphous stuff quite patchy though. Environments 2 makes up for any mistakes, anyway. All the new material that's appeared from forthcoming records is fucking excellent so I have high hopes.

As for Gaz, I'm under the impression a lot of the time he plays up to his image a little bit. Especially these days. Brian's a lovely bloke either way.

quoted for truth. my mispress cd is one of my treasured possessions - found it in boarders in ft lauderdale at the time it was released. there were two copies there, should have bought them both...
