I need to get my iphone insured in case a big man witha knife asks me for it one day.

Has anyone got any recommendations for who to insure with, searching in google brings up much too many results and I can't really distinguish between them. It looks quite pricey though.

I don't know how much 'quite pricey' is, but if you open an Advantage Gold account with NatWest (or the RBS equivalent, royalties I think it's called) they will give you free phone insurance as part of the package (you pay £12/month for the account and get some other stuff, free worldwide travel insurance, can't remember what else). I only know this because I used to work for RBS when I was an undergrad. As a bank they are awful but if you need phone insurance anyway then you could probably do worse than this.

the best iphone insurance to get is an ipad. get the cheap one. then after someone steals it, you still have your phone which is a fully functional ipad and so much more. plus it fits in your pocket and is not in plain view of said thieves.

mine's insured under my contents insurance. already made a claim for my iPhone actually (i broke it) they replaced it no problem. my insurance is with priviledge - £20 a month for about ten grand's worth of cover with accidental damage cover and cover for things when I take them out of my house. so yeah, priviledge seem ok...
