I'm really pleased with the way it came out, and I'm pleased that Placidburp likes it too.

A bit of Braindance, a bit of Shoegaze. So what does that make this? Shoebrainze?

It's not entirely finished yet, I have to do a bit of tweaking on some of the levels, but have a listen and tell us what you think.

Ha ha, yes, mostly mine, thank you.

I accidentally clicked on autotune while I was mixing (don't ask, I was using an unfamiliar DAW and thought it was the monitoring) and decided that I liked the strange, ethereal quality so I left it on. I don't usually sound quite so much like a robot.

lush, the singing kinda reminds me of the ghost in the shell music.

WOW, that Ghost In The Shell music is AMAZING, I've got to dig that out again and watch it again.

I was going for more of a Madeleine Chartrand kind of a vibe (see below) but that Japanese piece has more of a spooky and mysterious quality to it... I love that kind of ululating tone the singers get, it just sounds so unearthly.

This is a brilliant remix! I think the vocals could go down a touch but thats probably just down to my pedantic tastes, other than that it was pretty much spot on.
