yeah, looks cheap, badly made, has a crap sticker and awful fonts for the logos. if you want a USB audio interface, it's worthwhile spending just that bit more and going for a "proper" one. look out for stuff made by Edirol, M-Audio, Lexicon, Tascam, Alesis and Focusrite. Steer clear of Soundblaster, Terratec, Maplin, Trust, Startech or anyone else that sounds equally lame.

the terratec studio stuff is fine, my phase 28 has served me well for years

they are good but have the older ASIO drivers so you won't get as good latency

Terretec's Phase series have the later ASIO drivers as are the newer M-Audio
