Numbered Analord/Tuss tracks

Recommended Posts

1-3 Bodmin 1-3?

4 AFX Acid 04

5 Fenix Funk 5 (Xmd 5a?)

6 Fredugolon 6

7 Love 7

8 ?

9 Synthacon 9

10 Last Rushup 10

11 Naks 11

12 Rushup i Bank 12

I dunno I just noticed all these tracks had numbers and I thought maybe they relate to each other somehow (instead of there being an unreleased Naks 1-10 although there's Bodmin 1-3 so who knows)

Do they all use some synthesizer in common or anything? Or are they meant to be viewed as an album in themself and be played backwards and slowed down and run an FFT on the stereo difference and there'll be a voice saying the real identity of monolith

Well, if he really does make loads & loads of tracks, he probably began to run out of good titles years ago. Maybe he has 10+ other "Naks" tracks floating around his hard drive, all sharing some thematic element.

I think he forgot his MP3 Player on a plan once and rushed a release for one of his albums. I wish I found his laptop if he ever lost it.

Will there be a Red Calx on the upcoming Warp album?

Orange Calx, Purple Calx, Maroon Calx, Pink Calx, Turquoise Calx, CalxcalxcalxcalxcalxcalxcxxlAPSj

I always just assumed that he numbers the various different takes/mixdowns/versions of the same track for organisation purposes and then includes them in the final title to kind of show off how long the track has taken to get to its final stage.

Different reasons per track; some might use numbers as a part of name with no real meaning, some might use numbers because they follow the same theme/feeling of the previous track and some might use numbers because they are jammed out using the same gear setup and synth patches. You'll see all of the following in a myriad of aphex and squarepusher music.

Similarly, I wonder if there is any connection between the Calx tracks beyond "these are the Calx tracks".

weren't they all supposed to be that specific color? Like he saw blue calx as blue and green calx as green. I also heard him claim most of his tracks he saw as yellow

how does this work exactly... like if im high I can close my eyes and start to hullucinate with the help of my imagination and the music, but I've never noticed seeing a certain color always for certain tracks. Can people do that normally? And if so, can one learn haha?

I'm curious if the "who claims to be inspired by lucid dreams as well as music" part is a joke edit nobody caught

"hum my dad doesn't like this sound. he says it sounds psychotic and messes with your brain."

I like this guy's (hair)style.

by the way, to me yellow calx sounds yellow because of the overwhelming presence of those high pitched snares. It's luminous. Corn mouth is also yellow for instance but is more vivid and less light. On the other hand blue calx is more focused on low pitched sounds. See that sound that comes first in the track ? I'm not talking about the "beat" i'm talking about this sound that drops sonar echoes into the track. This sound is blue, but i can also listen to a lot of dark red/purple sounds. There's quite a few hints of green in green calx, but there's also a lot of yellow sounds (and a rotten red acidline). Well, what i'm trying to convey is there is quite a lot of differences between synaestheses perceptions but usually low pitched sounds translates as dark colours while high pitched tones translates as bright colours.
