Worlds Most Johnsson
Hi Watmm. I would like to produce or download a bass sound that is barley hearable by the human ear but generates... physical airwaves? Like with dog whistles but the other way around. Is this even possible. Any experts on this? Guest we_kill_soapscum
anything below 80hz Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/53499-sub-bass/#findComment-1244831 Share on other sites
Guest A/D
you can hear down to about 20hz. you'll need something quite powerful, like a good sound system in a club, to feel what happens below that. i think the comparison to dog whistles is a little off since dogs can hear those tones. i don't know of any animal who perceives <20hz as sound. you feel it as vibration. Guest iep
you'll want a 30hz tone since it's low, also because it's half of 60hz and 60hz can be found everywhere. 60hz can be found in a regular power outlet in your wall, for instance. all you need to do is connect a resistor to the power outlet and halvanize the audio frequency, you can use a metal wire for this, process start immediately. bascially now you have inverse reciprocal of the dog whistle. Guest Masonic Boom
I want those low tones where the speaker kind of flaps and farts, and you can almost see it moving, the sub is so low. Coz when you sit on the bassbins when that kind of frequency going on... oh my. Oh yes. awepittance
just load up a program that lets you dial in a specific frequency (like cooledit/adobe audition) or even better something that lets you type one in. you probably won't feel anything below 20hz unless you have a 20inch subwoofer, Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide awepittance's signature Hide all signatures Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/53499-sub-bass/#findComment-1245257 Share on other sites
Guest esquimaw
Just hit a G-0 on a synth with a sine wave.. That's the same low note as in that Loefah tune. G is a good key for dubstep. Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/53499-sub-bass/#findComment-1245261 Share on other sites

Guest theSun
whales can also hear incredibly low freq, not sure how that changes underwater though, other than increasing the distance.
