Wonk Scene is more in than ever: Hud Mo, Fly Lo, Rustie, Paul White, Lone, Keaver and Brause, Ras G, Illum Sphere, Mike Slott, Samiyam, Zomby, Bullion, Dimlite, Fulgeance, Dorian Concept, etc.

Keep an eye out for: Icasea Records, Schematic Records (might come back), new Casino Vs. Japan and Freescha (this year!), maybe more Rephlex?

this is not all encompassing, but a good chunk of electronic music of last couple years I've been listening to.

there was a fire at the IDM factory in early 2008, and most of the copies of MAX/MSP were lost, so everything made since then was done with, like, ukeleles and hammers on skulls and stuff, but you mostly can't tell.
