would you buy a mixer if...

you only had two sound sources and they were both for sampling on to the computer. i have a turntable and an old casio sk-1

i can switch wires back and forth but WOULD YOU BUY A MIXER ?????????>..............

Gotta ask yourself how often would you need to record both at the same time.

Most music software has a mixer of sorts built in. I'd use this. Just connect the outboard equipment to the line-in and get sampling.

Don't get a mixer. Get a 4-input soundcard. If you think you might expand, get an 8-input soundcard.

If were planing on doing live gigs some day get one. Otherwise I'd spend the money on booze.

Get a mixer, constantly plugging in-out your turntable/sk1 will eventually break the inputs on your soundcard.

Just get one of those cheap 4 channel behringer or yamaha rotary things.

I use a mixer for my mic and turntable... a Mackie 1202vlz pro which you can get for around $50 if you shop around used. It does the job :)

mackie 1202s are really good

i realized i got a couple extra inputs on my dj mixer so i'm covered for now :]
