the question is, should this be on dvd on blu-ray? send your opinion, because i'm not sure which way to go. keep in the mind, the blu-ray version would be the same price as the dvd.

it would be awesome to have the first degraded, low definition blu-ray movie.

i'm guessing it's probably just FUF fixed up and edited a bit more with some different footage, maybe some different tracks, different arrangement, etc. i doubt it will have anything from the new album, but you never know.

i managed to pick up a copy of the first FUF dvd on discogs a few months ago for $7.50, still sealed with the graveface sampler. pretty damn lucky.

nah, isn't it just the myspace pic or something for the page with the same name (Maniac Meat) ?

definitely excited about this. several tracks off of this have appeared through tobacco's myspace and live shows so far, and they are pretty good.

I agree with the negative comments about the potential cover...it's fucking terrible.

But I liked Tobacco's first album so I'll check this out.

not that i've seen, besides a few tracks. i've noticed that one of my friends on last.fm has had it for months, but i'm pretty sure he's a friend of tobacco's. i'd rather wait for the vinyl anyway though

it's all part of the tobacco persona, which i find very entertaining. i enjoy his sense of humor and capacity for weirdness.

go back and listen to his allegheny white fish stuff, i think it would offer you an explanation for this cover.

someone earlier in this thread said they loved tobacco but got old after a few listens. pretty much exactly how i felt too. im definitely looking forward to this though.

can't think of any tobacco stuff specifically with the omnichord off the top of my head, but i'm sure it's in there somewhere. got to see seven fields playing it live on the track 'twin of myself' when i saw bmsr in boston.

this is fucking RAD. lick the witch rips. somehow pretty melodic but way more intense than anything hes ever done. i love the new things hes doing with the vocoder too. deeper, weirder. unholy demon rythms is one of the coolest things i've ever heard. so much better than the bland, over-produced, predictable, hollow, cliche of an album that was Eating Us.
