Looks better than Avatar. I will most certainly watch this.

Showgirls came into my life, and out of my TV, at a time in which nude writhing women were necessary but hard to find. Elizabeth Berkley was a face I recognised from a younger age, that helped to make the transition a little smoother. Oh, and the sheer eroticism of Gershon gave me the raging horn.

It's a bad film, and that hot-tub sex-scene is largely laughable, but it is most certainly a turning-point in my life and a film that I will always watch when it's on TV.

This is going to be the best movie this year.

Vorlander responded to criticism of his movie on TwitchFilm, stating that his film is art. He said: "The difference between controversial art and crap is very easy: controversial art is hated, panned, discussed..., crap simply disappears into nowhere immediately."

 

He added: "Thanks for passionately hating my work so less objective. I can not take this serious, but I appreciate it since it fits perfectly in the calculated behavior of self-styled movie critics that would not even detect art if you would engrave the word in their glasses to help them with it. It's demonstrative that my work is acclaimed by many professionals from the industry and other artists and hated so much by folks that never made it there."

this could be a 'so bad it's good' or one of those pseudo 'trying to be so bad it's good' but just ending up shite anyway although the shoe string budget and hilarious acting almost makes it look like one of those cheeky porno's (like Sex Trek) which I hope it is

Seems the main actress is also the director, and she acted in Show Girls, Striptease and Mulholland Drive (which is why she looked familiar to me), and she parodies all those movies with this. The fact that this movie happened is mind blowing enough. Don't even have to watch it.

I guess no one thought to copyright the 'Showgirls 2' title but then again why would they?
